PEACE CUSHION VOLUNTARY ORGANIZATION
(PCVO) is a national, voluntary organization; it registered at the Humanitarian Aid Commission under No. 9089 of the Sudanese Humanitarian Voluntary Work Regulation Act. (PCVO) works in the following areas: Emergency recovery development (PCVO)The Peace Cushion Voluntary Organization was founded in September 2022 by activists and expert who worked at humanitarian field of Monitoring & evaluation, FSL, food distribution and NFIs, natural resource management(NRM) education, WASH. They also have experts specialized in the fields of protecting women and children from violence and harmful habits. They have good trainees all over Sudan who worked in the field of psychological trauma, civic education, legal aid, community development and community peace building. The organization targeted all those affected by the disasters, including the displaced (IDPs) and refugees and returnees as well. Particularly who have lost their property, parts of their bodies and members of their families?
Works to advance local communities’ ability to mitigate conflict reduce violence and achieve social justice. is to strengthen community capacity by enhancing participation, contributing to policy and to build resilience and self-resilient to sustain the community and individual stimulating action.
